The storyline doesn't offer too many twists but it's simple yet captivating and offers a solid hook for gamers who love games that have a good storyline.

The titular character in the RPG game is of extreme importance and Jake here is a fantastic character. Armed with a fantastic shield which provides protection and some fantastic weapons for launching devastating attacks, the main character is powerful enough to defeat all villains. The catch here though is that you need to master when to attack and when to duck/defend in order to defeat the enemies. The game makers have ensured that regardless of your battle armor and battle gear, its your decision making and strategy during the fight sequences which would decide most battles. You can carry the best equipment available in a given round and still lose if you won't choose your moments to defend and attack wisely.

Implosion has great graphics with the characters well fleshed out. The character design is good and memorable while the battle sequences are also captivating. The graphics use colors well in order to bring about a fantastic picture of every scene while the movements of the protagonists during fight sequences is also well-designed. The background music and score adds much needed momentum for the players with fight sequences especially becoming more entertaining due to the dialogues and the music.

When it comes to controls, the game offers a solid list of options on the bottom right of the screen. The defense and attack buttons are easily reachable while others are also within the reach of your thumb. The response to the controls is great and you will always feel that your character is completely responding to whatever you are doing with the controls.
